MARK Marinaccio has spent two decades inside the unscripted television industry, building shows for Discovery, History, Travel Channel, Syfy, and Discovery+. Colleagues call him "The UFO Pro" and "Mr. Paranormal" — not as a joke, but as a job description.
He came up as a producer and director on the original Ghost Hunters, then spent years inside the Discovery development machine — the place where ideas get green-lit or quietly buried. He's produced investigations on Skinwalker Ranch (a four-month shoot in the Uintah Basin for season three of The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch), Pennhurst Asylum, Travel Channel's The Dead Files, Discovery+'s Shock Docs, and seasons of Expedition Unknown and Shark Week.
In 2024 he showran Alien Encounters: Fact or Fiction and turned full attention to building The Strange Story Co. — a podcast, a brand, and the upcoming Strange Story FAST channel — out of his Agoura Hills studio. The mission: take the unexplained as seriously as any other beat in journalism, with witnesses on the record and the receipts on the table.
