We investigate
the unexplained
like it matters.
Strange Story is a modern media brand for the curious — for the skeptic who loves a good mystery, the believer who's tired of spectacle, and the witness who has never been taken seriously. We treat the paranormal, UFOs, and the unexplained the way investigative journalists treat any other story: with rigor, skepticism, and respect for the people on the record.
The methodology
Source vetting
Every claim begins with a witness, a document, or a recording. We confirm provenance before we publish a frame.
Cross-reference
Testimony is checked against radar logs, weather records, public filings, and the published timeline. Patterns survive scrutiny — coincidences do not.
On the record
We interview principals on camera, uncut. Where identities must be protected, we say so. We never put words in a witness's mouth.
Disclose what we don't know
If the evidence is thin, we say it. If a story breaks, we revise the file. The archive is a living record.
Built on
the long
interview.
We've spent decades watching the unexplained get treated like a joke. We started Strange Story to give the subject the same seriousness we'd give any other under-reported beat: the long interview, the uncut testimony, the document trail.
We've sat with paranormal investigators, congressional witnesses, mediums, military pilots, sheriffs, and the families left behind. The case files we publish are the ones that survived our own scrutiny — and the ones we still can't fully explain.
